Laurie Bruce has been employed with Cammack & Strong for over ten years and has served as Mr. Cammack’s legal assistant and office administrator for over six years, previously serving as assistant to former State Senator Jack Strong, who is now “Of Counsel” to the firm. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of the firm with a strong background and work experience in real estate, management, public relations and accounting.

She earned her B.S. degree in vocational home economics from East Texas State University, now Texas A&M Commerce, with post-graduate work at the University of Texas, Tyler. She has volunteered in numerous capacities in the Presbyterian Church including youth director, handbell director and children’s choir director, is a former member of the Junior League of Longview and presently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Presbyterian Mo-Ranch Assembly in Hunt, Texas.
